Mission
The Formation Commission supports our Parish mission
”That all may be one” -(John 17:22) by coordinating evangelization and educational activities that support spiritual growth for all ages.
Role:
The Commission’s role is to foster cooperation, communication, and mutual respect among all groups and individuals involved in the religious formation ministries of the parish.
Purpose:
The Commission aims to involve and
encourage all parishioners to participate in one or more of the various religious
formation ministries of the parish.
The Formation Commission Membership is cross-cultural and is comprised of
representatives from the ministries listed above as well as other persons interested in working on formation projects to help the parish grow in “wisdom and grace.”
Members are expected to
1) attend the regular monthly meeting of the Formation Commission
2) participate in the work of the Commission by supporting activities such as stewardship weekend or organizing special educational opportunities for parish members, and
3) serve as a Commission officer as needed.
