The Lord continues to call young men to serve His Church as priests. Often, that call begins quietly—and it needs to be heard, encouraged, and nurtured.
We especially invite parents to take an active role in this moment. If you see in your son a love for the faith, a generous heart, or a desire to serve others, consider encouraging him to be open to God’s call. Your support, your words, and your example can make a lasting difference in helping him listen with courage and trust.
The the “Called by Name” campaign, young men receive guidance, prayer, and opportunities for discernment to help them better understand how God may be calling them.
As a parish family, we also commit to praying for our youth. As Jesus says, “The harvest is abundant but the laborers are few; so ask the master of the harvest to send out laborers for his harvest” (Luke 10:2).
Let us work together to foster a culture where our young men are encouraged to listen, to trust, and to follow the voice of Christ, the Good Shepherd.
Do you know a young man who exhibits qualities of faith, leadership, and a heart for service? Help encourage him in his vocational discernment by sharing his name and contact information. Please include at least one form of contact so we can reach out to him. Candidates should be ages 15-30’s.
