DO NOT MISS THE JOYFUL EXPECTATION OF ADVENT! “COME, LORD JESUS!”
Since the establishment of the date of Christmas on December 25th, Advent began to take shape in the life of the Church as a time of preparation in order to keep the faithful away from the pagan rituals leading to the preexisting civil feast of the Sun. It is a time of joyful expectation for the coming of Christ. To better prepare us, I would like to offer a few simple reflections on this beautiful season of the liturgical year.
