Jesus was betrayed and abandoned by His friends and followers. He was scourged, crowned with thorns and mockingly hailed as a king. He was made to carry his cross and crucified. He died and descended into Hell.    Entrusting his life go the Father, Jesus bore our infirmities, and obedient unto death, won for us eternal salvation.
